Swansea Bay H.C., Swansea, Wales 30 June - 2 July 2017
The 2017 Home International tournament tOk place at the King George V Playing Fields, Swansea from Friday 30 June to Sunday 2 July.
Scotland fielded teams at Grand Masters, Great Grand Masters and Senior Grand Masters level. The first two competitions involved England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales and the Senior Grand Masters only England, Scotland and Wales - Australia Over 70s played as guests in the tournament, finishing off a four week European tour.
Both Scotland Grand Masters and Scotland Senior Grand Masters claimed second place in their respective tournaments in Swansea over the weekend of 30 June - 2 July 2017. Scotland Great Grand Masters saw second place snatched from their grasp with five minutes to go in their final match on Sunday 2 July, Ireland scoring a winner to demote Scotland to third place on goal difference.
England as usual dominated the tournament, retaining each of the three trophies.
Tournament Results
Each team played three matches - the Over 70 fixtures involving Australia were outside the Senior Grand Masters competition, which was played between England, Scotland and Wales.
